Product Description

Design Simplicity

The Spiroflow Flexible Screw Conveyor is designed with simplicity in mind. With the electric motor driven spiral being the only moving part, there is not a need for any additional operating equipment such as filters or bearing. This simplicity makes flexible screw conveyor hygienic, easy to clean, low installation and maintenance costs, and has a high efficiency.

Dust-free Conveying

Another added benefit of not using air as to convey material is not needing an air filtration system. When using a screw conveyor, the entire conveying process is enclosed and dust-free. The presence of dust in an operation can be a health hazard and an operational nightmare. You can eliminate the hassle of air pollution control by using an enclosed flexible screw conveyor.

Easy Clean Design

Flexible screw conveyors are much easier to clean out than most competing enclosed conveying equipment. With Spiroflow’s flexible screw, you can simply reverse the direction to empty left behind material out the back. In addition to reversing the screw, Spiroflow also options quick release connectors for operations where fully sanitization is essential.

Gentle Handling

In facilities where product degradation is a serious concern, flexible screw conveyors might be the best choice for conveying. With the smooth conveying motion, a helix provides, there is little chance for product to be broken or torn. If product degradation is a concern, Spiroflow has a more than 45 years of experience testing customer products and helping to find the optimal solution for conveying.

Continual Remixing

The unique action of the flexible helix offers the benefit of eliminating the risk of product separation.  This is crucial in applications where the product being fed is a pre-mixed batch.

Low Maintenance

In a flexible screw conveyor, the only moving part is the helix inside the tubular cover. Spiroflow specially treats and tempers their helix for maximum working life.

Easy Integration with Handling Equipment

Spiroflow’s flexible screw conveyor can be configured to convey in any direction, at any angle, with any elevation gain. They can be installed over, under, and around equipment that is already existing in the production facility. The ability to accommodate existing equipment makes installation a breeze with this conveyor.

Heavy Duty Options

Spiroflow offers a wide range of heavy-duty options for high bulk density or abrasive materials.
